Being transferred to Soweto

First things first: Transfers!!

Saturday morning we get a call from President Leavitt
All sums up to basically, I've been released as a Zone Leader!! I am going to be just a normal missionary again!

And I'm being transferred to SOWETO!!!! Back to Soweto!!! But like, Soweto the area! Not just the zone!

My new companion is Elder Bartice, from Tonga or something!

All in all, I enjoyed being a Zone Leader very much, great experience but its like a church calling as its just for a time.

As for the area, I'm very sad to be leaving Centurion. I love it here and the people are just fantastic, and I was quite worried about where I was going to go. But Soweto is quite nice! Looking forward to do some crazy work there!

Really going to miss the people here. I love them a lot, especially some of the investigators! They have all been great!

One of the great experiences we had this week was that the really powerful Father-led-Family that we are teaching, their names are Koketso and Mahlatsa, they wanted us to come every day this week! To teach them the gospel, and they have progressed so fast! It has been amazing! They are so ready for the gospel, as it really answers their questions!
We had a funny experience where we were teaching about the plan of salvation, and then we started teaching about baptisms for the dead. After a little while explaining they all got it, but before we got it resolved they were a bit apprehensive, they thought that we were saying you can be baptized for someone who is still alive! he he, it was quite a funny appointment

This week we also had exchanges! Me and Elder Sousa were together here in Centurion while my companion went to do a baptismal interview in Hospital View
It was awesome! Elder Sousa is a really funny person and we had a great time together! He's an amazing missionary, and in fact he is going to be my Zone Leader in Soweto! So it will be interesting
One of the great appointments that we had on Wednesday was we went to Jessica. Jessica is the daughter of an investigator and is investigating herself.
So we went to teach her, and she started telling us about how she basically wants to find forgiveness and help her get rid of the guilt she has.

SO we were really able to help her, and she loves the gospel so much! You can really see the conversion taking place as we invest time in her and help her feel the spirit. She is reading the Book of Mormon by herself and wants to get baptized! She has also come to church 3 weeks in a row.
It was actually funny, because she was showing us these messages from the pastor of the church she used to attend, he was basically asking where she had been, because she was attending our Church :D

Also had a funny experience where we were meant to go to these members for dinner, and when I called them 5 mins before to get their address, she had completely forgotten!!! It was quite amusing, luckily she managed to send us some money electronically (we picked it up from the ATM) and we went to Burger King

This week was also Ward Conference, and I was singing in the choir! I actually did a pretty good job!

That was my week!
