Pastor of another church wants us to do Home Teaching to HIS members

So our week was actually really awesome!

The first thing was on Tuesday we went to one of our really powerful investigators, Jessica, she came to church again this week, her second time, and is really loving it! She is doing really well and we are hoping that she is going to accept a baptismal invitation this week

One of the other funny things that happened was that we managed to meet up with this pastor of another church, basically he wants us to come with him and basically do Home Teaching with the members of his congregation and to teach the other people of the community. The only problem is that he wants us to go with members of his church..... so that is a little bit of a problem! So we are still thinking about that!

We also (on Tuesday) got to go see the Brutons, a returning family who's kids we are teaching, anyway they fed us dinner which was great! The only problem was is that right before them, we went to this one investigators house, only planning to stay 15 minutes, and it turns out that they wanted to feed us too! Right before our dinner appointment! AH!
But it was fine. We got to discuss some things that were bothering the parents of the Brutons. It was actually interesting, so we are all sitting around the table and Bro Bruton is about to ask us a question and Sis Bruton stops him and asks: Do you want to do this in front of the kids? Ha ha, anyway they sent the kids away, and we talked about the "issues".

Thursday was Zone Conference, which was really nice, got to see a lot of people and to be instructed, but the best thing was that I got to conduct half of it!! The only issue was that we were late!! (only about 2 mins) but they had already started and I was meant to conduct first! But it mattered not! I conducted the second half and I switched with the other Elder that was conducting!
It was nice, It is weird the way that things go the older you get on mission, in the sense of how things feel. Zone Conference now is very relaxed and quite enjoyable, you kinda go through phases on your mission!

One of the best experiences of this week was that we went to one of our new investigators house, they are a sweet Father Led Family. Anyway we were teaching the mother and as we are just discussing about baptism in the first part of the lesson, before we teach the restoration, she all of a sudden just starts crying! Tears were just rolling down her cheeks and she just knew that it was true! The spirit was very strong in that lesson! It was amazing So we are really excited for her and to see how she will progress. She is actually the friend of Jessica, so hopefully she'll be able to come to church!

We also had a funny experience with Millicent! Millicent is an investigator, 26ish and she really wants to get baptized and is changing her life. One example is that after the lesson on Saturday, she mentioned to us that she was just thinking and has decided that she is going to start dressing more modestly. And about how the guy she is going to marry isn't going to be attracted to her because of how she looks, so she should stoop trying to attract other guys! It was just great!
Anyway, her phone isn't working too well, and we need to get a code from her to get into her complex, and her phone wasn't working on Saturday, so what we do is we call one of the members that lives in the same complex and ask him to let us in. It worked, and when we knocked on her door she was really surprised
We were talking to her about all the things that we still need to teach her. Now Esther had been fellowshipping her, So we are talking about like Law of Chastity, Word of Wisdom and even the end of the Plan of Salvation, didn't know any of it, so we are like right we have to teach it all
Challenge is when members tell them too much.

That was about it for this week, although this Monday we were going to go to a pioneer monument here, but it was going to be R70!! Each!

So we went to an Air Force Memorial instead which was really nice!
