We drive past the Orlando Towers, Vilakazi street and everything!
The people here are just so nice as well! Both the members and the people that live here are just awesome! I love it! And I think I will love it so much by the time I am finished here.
I feel very comfortable here, in the township, people are very easy to approach and talk about the gospel to. I've made a goal to get the contact details of 95 people (the space in the planner) over the next 6 weeks! And i'm doing good! So we shall see how it goes
It was interesting in how what President said when he told me I was moving is reflected in the area. When I got here, the flat was a mess (very dirty) so we spent almost 3 hours this morning cleaning, the area book hadn't been written in for almost 3 months! And some of the investigators are a bit flakey
But working with Elder Bartice we have been able to turn this around!!
Elder Bartice is an amazing guy, from Central America, he struggles a little with English, but he is a good missionary and a very nice guy! I think I will enjoy working with him, he is very humble and very nice.
We had this great experience, Sunday night, about 7:45, just about to drop off our member present and head home, but we decided to try and find this potential investigator that we'd contacted while getting Kota.
Luckily we had a GPS to help us find the street, and the street that it came up with was a different name but similar to the one i had written down, we tried it and it was him!! He was very surprised to see us and that we actually came! Gave him a bible and a restoration pamphlet and we are going back next week!
That was my week!
