Great activity with church leaders

So this week was really good, lots happened, I just hope I can remember it all!

So on Sunday, we got to go to a special missionary fireside, in which Sister Bonnie L Oscarson was there! With her husband! It was a great meeting and I loved it a lot! She talked about mission and things like that, though it was funny because I think she was directing it more at the MTC missionaries rather than me who has not got long left

Her husband is a bishop in Salt Lake City, and funnily enough he is Jeffery R Holland's bishop!! Ha ha, we found that funny but what was better was when she said "but he's quite less-active" haha (because he's always away on his apostle assignments)
They were also Mission Presidents in Sweden in their 20s!!! If I heard right!

But the weirdest thing was we came out of PEC before church and there she was!! She had attended in Dobsonville ward! So I was staring that her in the hall ;) And also I was greeted by Elder Palmer of the Area Presidency but when he greeted me I had no idea who he was! ha ha

But one of the things that happened in the fireside was when she asked us to share about the miracles on a mission, and I shared about how mission blesses the families of those back home! She liked the specifics I shared, a lot.

On Saturday we had a ward activity! They had a talent show that the YSA had planned, and it went really well!! It was a lot of fun and they had a Braai. The acts were amazing! There were some cool guys that danced, the bishop sang a love song to his wife and it was just nice.
We also had a part! Me and 3 of the other members got up and did a comedy skit of missionary work, which turned out really really funny! ha ha. It was amazing, I will try to get the video of us.

One of the big things that I've been doing as well is writing in my journal! For the first time on my mission, I have consistently written in it for more than a week! And I am averaging more than 6 pages a day! Ha ha, lots to write about, and I'm loving it! My only regret is I didn't learn to do this sooner!

One of the investigators that I can mention is a guy named Galdwin. We found Gladwin by simply teaching someone, then he came running up, asked what we were doing, I told him, and he took a Book of Mormon, gave us his number, and then had to run off. But we called him this week and he was around! He was actually surprised when we turned up! We taught him and he is really prepared for the gospel, so we are looking forward very much for him!

I've also seen this week, quite a few people have dropped their appointments with us, but I've seen that it is the Lord's hand in arranging our schedule, so we can see the people that we need to see!

I love this work and testify that it is true!
