So something that made me happy is that I got a bunch of mail and a package this week! It was a little awkward because some of the other Elders had met the Zone Leaders and had all the mail turns out that the only mail there was for me :)) he he he so I had a nice time opening it that night and listening to Christmas music as I did it, so it was a nice evening to just relax, and move into my year mark!
It's crazy! 1 year on mission! It's amazing, it's funny to think that I've been here for a year, so I'm looking forward to the next year, and also for it to go faster than this past one! So we shall see how it goes!
Finally got round to fixing some of my clothes this time around! It was awesome! I managed to do it, mostly, so now I have another shirt to use which is nice.
Got stopped by police while on the road! But as soon as they saw who we were they let us go straight away!.
One of the problems that we have here in Africa are these 'prophets' One of these prophets is now spraying insecticide into People's faces and claiming that it heals them.. so that was funny :)
District Leadering still going well! I had no idea what to do for District Meeting this week because it was about this #LighttheWorld but managed in the end to work something out.
Something crazy here that you should mention to people back home if they ever complain about school is that people here go to school every day!! Even Saturday's and Sunday's!
I managed to convince a returned less active that her witch-doctor stuff is wrong and she should stop. Which was kinda a mircale but very happy about that!
I was sitting in sacrament this week and right after the sacrament the person conducting gets up and announces that I will share my testimony (he meant talk, because the person hadn't come) about the Book of Mormon. And him announcing it is the first time I hear about it.... luckily I'd studided about it and so I was able to play it off really well. There are a few things like that here.
