Okay so big thing! We went to meet the ZLs during the week after getting a random call from them, turns out they had some mail for me and supplies for the other guys (I was the only person who got any mail!!) And it was my Christmas Package. So I am all stocked up on chocolate!! And have resolved to share it with my companion :) Also while I remember, some of the Elders in my district joked that mum should write to them too he he, because of all the letters she sends me!
Forgot to mention that a couple of weeks ago at Zone Meeting, while having a game to introduce everyone, you had to write something about the Elder that you got, the person who got me wrote that "His family love him very much' he he he!
But especially excited to talk to you on
Christmas day!!!
So this week has been fast, but has had a lot in it!
Church this week was interesting! We had Brother Masiza (an investigator) at church again which was really nice to see, and managed to pull off Gospel Principles by ourselves! We had a great discussion on faith! Which is really something that I've been studying and thinking about a lot. And so I've learnt a lot about it!
Had to give a surprise talk in sacrament meeting because one of the speakers cancelled on them, which is the second time in like 2 weeks, but no matter, I was fine when I pulled it off :P
And then we were late to our Lunch appointment because the 2nd counselor wanted to have an in depth look at Mosiah/Alma and work out who was who, and if Alma (Elder) had the Melchezidek Priesthood :')\
It's weird right now because it really doesn't feel like Christmas at the minute because it's like 30 degrees and people are all preparing their BBQ's for Christmas day!
Had a funny experience where we went to the house of an investigator to try and make an appointment, he wasn't home but his 2 sisters were so we taught them instead, and just as we finish the Apostasy section of the first lesson, one of them tell us that she is a Born Again Christian and apparently a pastor in her church. So we both die inside a little, but steel ourselves and teach the restoration. Amazingly she accepts what we are teaching, and when I ask her to say what she understands, she understands perfectly! It was amazing!!
Other than that... not much else to be honest, had to take our car in for service because the brake pads were gone, like GONE. So we had a struggle for a couple of days with the brakes making an awful noise!
Can't really think of much else happening to be honest, just looking forward to this week!
The work here is moving forward really well and we are teaching a lot of people, and hopefully things will begin to start moving, the only problem is that everyone is away for the holidays or is busy getting drunk for Christmas, so it's hard to teach a lot of people.
That's about it!
I feel like I've really grown on my mission and that I am a different person.
