No real problems with the driving!! I've started to stop when the light turns yellow instead of accelerating ;) he he, but don't worry I'm being extra safe! A couple of close calls but nothing major :) not even hit anyone. Actually on Saturday someone rear ended me, not very fast, but luckily for us we have a bike rack on the back of the car, so if anyone ever hits us, it's the bike rack they hit (solid steel) not the car, so it didn't actually do anything to our car, but it dented his number plate :P
So lots of things this week
The main one was on Thursday when we had a Zone Training and interviews with president Dunn
The interview was quite short and there wasn't much to actually talk about :')
You've probably heard that he's leaving early and going to be the managing director at BYU Communications! He had a skype call with Elder Holland and Oaks!! SO that was interesting
They've also changed the missionary schedule a bit too! More time proselyting. So we leave the flat at like 9:30 and get back 8:30. Get to go to bed at 10pm which is nice!!! Extra sleep for us!
Companionship study is now whenever we want and is for 30 minutes.
ANNNDD on Thursday at Zone Conference I got some mail!!!! I got like 11 letters (like 4 of them were Christmas cards :') ) and I also got a small package with some Ferrero Rochers and those sweets that I like. I've practically eaten all of them already :P They were very nice
My comp got a letter, but it was a typed letter from his Stake Presidency for Thanksgiving. It didn't even have his name on it just had Elder/Sister. I felt kinda bad for him :3
Church this week was awesome! We had a baptism, Masiza got baptized and it turns out that he wanted me to baptize him, so I eventually agreed!
Anyway it went really well, I managed to do it first time, even though it was almost a disaster! We were literally about to go into the font when he turns to me and says that he actually has a middle name... Nzukiseni... took me a couple of tries but I eventually managed to get it right and then as well! The EQP turns to me (he was witnessing) and mentions that he has another middle name!! But thankfully disaster avoided!!
Had some more miracles this week, the main one was that on Saturday, we had 7 planned appointments for the day, and all but 1 of them fell through!!! But we managed to claw back 4 and so ended the day with 5 lessons!
We are really working hard here and the numbers are showing it! IT's going awesome!
I've felt a bit weird this week, I dunno just kinda subdued, I'm also less inclined to eating in the evenings, but I just think that is because I'm tired at night! We work so hard during the day!
It was funny, we had a dinner appointment but when we get there they aren't home and so we decide to go contact some people. Which was actually pretty successful! It's funny to see how far I've come because I look at Elder Blow who is still new and realize that I was the same! But now it's different, it's so much easier and now to me talking about the gospel is just like regular conversation! :)
Looking forward to the new mission president, although I really love President Dunn!
That's about my week!
Love you lots!! take care :)
Jack
